Workshops provide a venue to networking, to discuss work in progress and explore opportunities for new research related to a topic of interest within the context of the conference.

Workshops will take place on the day before the main conference (24th October). Workshops may be half-day or full-day in length, and may have up to 25 participants with a minimum of 8 presenting authors.

Workshop proposals will be evaluated regarding relevance and anticipated interest, and should include Workshop title, presenter(s) information, abstract, and intended audience, a draft call for papers, including the workshop submission deadlines


Proposals for workshops should not exceed 6 pages in length including references in the Springer LNICST format.


Submissions will be evaluated on their originality, quality and significance.

Submission to the Workshop Track are not anonymous, they should include name and affiliation of the author(s). In addition, if necessary, submissions must include additional information describing the technical and logistical requirements for running the workshop. Please note that Workshops should be self-supporting as the organizers will only be able to provide space, electricity and an internet connection.

Registered Workshop papers will be submitted for inclusion by Springer and made available through the SpringerLink Digital Library, one of the world’s largest scientific libraries.
